Dzeko set to reject City for Juve

Dzeko has long been on the radar of some of Europe's biggest clubs - with both Manchester City and Juventus heavily linked with the Bosnian striker.

The player himself seems keener on a move to Turin than Eastlands and told Tuttosport: "I will reject Manchester City once again if Juventus really want me."

Juve and Wolfsburg are reportedly in negotiations which have become protracted due to the €40 million price-tag the German club has slapped on their prized asset.

The Bianconeri are currently cash-strapped and are trying to cobble together a cash plus player deal that will see them part with €20 million as well as Diego.

From the player's perspective, it would certainly make more sense to move to Italy than England.

Manchester City are currently on a spending spree that could see five or more strikers competing for two starting places. Despite the riches on offer, it is not exactly the most attractive place for a player looking for a regular place in the starting eleven.
